Up to date movie lineup. Take the bats and landing planes as experience, not disturbances.

The cinema is around 100 years old, has a normal front but is only half covered (seating in & out) with an uncovered screen. Went along to the 8.30 showing (also a 6 or 6.30 movie & they are different at each showing & each night) and it was fantastic. We had been warned that the chairs are a bit uncomfortable & to take a pillow & this was a good tip. The chairs are the old style swing back & little support. We elected to sit in the uncovered area but were warned to use insect repellant, rather than the covered area. The screen is in good conditioned and the sound quite good considering outdoors. There is a small canteen selling the normal fare. The old building also houses a bit of movie memorabilia.Everybody loved the experience.

Fantastic. Outdoor setting was amazing and sound quality blew me away. So nice to watch a movie sitting under the stars. For some they may want to bring a cushion but well worth going and seeing a movie there.

Great picture garden theater. Oldest in the world. Being open air and a few hundred metres from the airport it was an experience watching and hearing the planes coming in to land just over our heads. We saw Mama Mia here we go again which was a great film in the open air. Only downside was we got a lot of sand fly bites. But up in the tropics we should have taken some precautions.

Great fun. Highly recommended. Saw Mission impossible 6 and loved the extra ambience of a jet airliner landing right over the screen. Impressive!
