Beautiful little seaside retreat With a 'splash park ' for children. They love during wet season. Also is just a great place to cool off.
Loved this park. . Old fashioned. . Right on the water, close to town, bus handy, walk or cycle, night market in park, fabulous cafe. Swim or kayak. What's not to like. Amenities however are tired.
After booking in and looking at the site we were given (when I had booked it was supposed to be absolute beachfront) it was not beachfront and the site was far to small for my caravan, annex and car to fit into. The annex was facing away from the beach as well. The park is old and in need of some serious upgrades to bring it into at least an acceptable standard. The staff were great however and had no qualms about refunding my money.
We loved our week at this park. The facilities are a bit old but we were lucky enough to have a site with uninterrupted views of Roebuck Bay which was awesome.An added bonus is that we were allowed to have our dog with us. The staff were extremely friendly and we can't wait to go back. Thank you for everything.
The view is worth a million dollars here so make sure you ask for a waterfront site. Great neighbours and the occasional evening police patrol makes you feel safe. We did have a problem with garbage bins not being emptied and cleaned with a large amount of maggots around the rim of the bin.
