Was passing through Broome and was having some car trouble. After several refusals due to next available appointment min. a week later from other mechanics I called this one where after thoroughly inquiring about every detail of the issue, Nick said he'll take a quick look at it tomorrow. He was able to fix it just from having so much experience and detecting the light issue, saving me a lot of money for unnecessary parts. All a bargain. It feels good to be looked after while on the road. Thank you sir!

100 series cruiser towing a van, started making strange noise from engine about 100km out from Broome, along with increase in fuel consumption. Suspected bearing problem in turbo. Broome Toyota listened to it and suggested broken studs on exhaust manifold but were fully booked up for a week. Not prepared to head off in case it was something major so Googled repaired and Broome Auto Excellence came up with 4.8 stars so called into them. Nick quickly arranged for one of his experienced mechs to check it out. 10 minutes later problem fixed, studs on intake manifold had stretched causing nuts to loosen and manifold to become loose. Went to pay but Nick did not want to charge, ended up taking $20 to go towards staff drinks. A breath of fresh air in a town renowned for charging heaps because they can.
